Being strong doesn’t always mean you have to fight the battle. True strength is being adult enough to walk away from the nonsense with your head held high.

There may be people in our lives creating drama and difficulty at every turn. I pray for those people. Pray to understand what makes them behave in such a manner instead of responding to their nonsense. It’s not always easy. I’m a girl who fights for what she believes in and what she feels is right. But I’ve learned there are times it is far better to have peace, than to be right. It’s far better to be proud of my behavior instead of embarrassed by it later. I’ve never regretted the strength I’ve shown when I’ve walked away from the nonsense with my head held high. True strength allows us to do just that.
