PRESS RELEASE: Berta Lippert Stands Up To Cancer With Certification From World-Renowned Mayo Clinic

It’s been nearly 5 years since I lost my Mom to cancer and 1 year since my Dad survived his own battle with this terrible disease. I am nearing the 4 year anniversary of my double mastectomy. A decision pathology confirmed was the right one to ensure my son would not know the pain of losing his Mom to cancer.

I made a commitment to turn these difficult experiences and the prominent role cancer has had in my family into something positive. To use it to make a difference in the lives of others. It is with great pride that I present to you the following press release announcing my official certification from Mayo Clinic and how I intend to use it. I hope my Mom is proud of what I’m doing and how her life was used to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

This post is in honor of my parents and all of the other cancer heroes in heaven and survivors down here on earth.
