Greek Turkey Burgers, Mediterranean Salad & Infused Water
Here’s the recipe from my segment today!
Tzatziki Sauce
Traditional Tzatziki sauce has grated cucumber so feel free to add that to yours if you’d like!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup non-fat, plain greek yogurt
1/4 teaspoon dried dill
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1-2 cloves of minced garlic
Greek Turkey Burgers
1lb of ground turkey
2 cups of fresh spinach torn in small pieces
1/2 cup low-fat feta cheese
1/2 cup finely diced sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon oregano
2-3 cloves of minced garlic
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Sliced red onions
Sliced cucumber
Whole grain buns
Directions
Blend Tzatziki sauce ingredients and set aside.
Mix turkey, spinach, feta, tomatoes, oregano, garlic and lemon. Separate mixture into four even sections and shape into patties. Grill patties until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Top cooked burgers with sauce, cucumber, onions and enjoy!
