I have been so proud of myself completing all of the de-clutter challenges from Oprah Magazine’s March De-Clutter Challenge hosted by Peter Walsh. Until this one. It’s now several days later and I still have not completed this challenge. I blame the fact that I had recently removed an enormous amount of clothes from my closet as the reason I am unable to rid myself of the bottom third of each pile of t-shirts and sweaters.
AND…..do you have any idea how many hurdles I had to jump over to make it to state in the 100 meter high hurdles my senior year of high school?! I still have gravel in both knees from the cinder track I trained on. I earned that state track meet t-shirt!! I cannot help it that that t-shirt along with my other collection of ‘earned’ and ‘lucky’ shirts resides in my closet. In the bottom third. Of each pile.
Maybe. Just MAYBE, I will take them out of my closet and gently place them in a closet I don’t need as much real estate in. Until then, I’m just going to have to call a spade a spade and let you know that this challenge was an EPIC FAIL for me. That is all.
