Four years ago today I was on my knees in a hospital room holding on to my mother’s hand when it was time to say goodbye following her courageous battle with cancer. Shortly thereafter I found this quote and it motivates me to this day.
Tonight I will honor her and every other person impacted by cancer when I step into my moment on stage to meet many wonderful people and deliver a message to empower them to make positive changes in their lives. I can think of no finer way to pay tribute to her and am grateful for the opportunity to serve others.
